Your Defensive Anchor could know one of these moves to free up a slot for two DPS Pokemon, or you can choose a more balanced Pokemon like Machamp to take this role. Support: This Pokemon should know a move that helps your entire team.DPS (Damage Dealer): This Pokemon should deal massive damage, so look for Pokemon with high attack stats and good damaging moves.This isn't so important early on, but eventually, you'll want to get a little more in-depth in order to progress more efficiently. Paired with a healing Aqua Ring makes a good choice as a defensive anchor.īefore you pick your Pokemon, you need to learn the basics of putting together a decent team. Lapras: Some of Lapras' bingo bonuses lets it heal more and take less damage.Dragonite: Dragonite's stats are higher than ever other Pokemon's besides Legendaries, and it has access to one of the best moves in the game: Draco Meteor.It can also learn Mega Punch, one of the best attacks in the game as well, making it a fantastic balanced Pokemon. This gives it some of the best balanced stats in the game. Its third Bingo Bonus must be 550+ Attack. Snorlax: This heavy-weight Normal-type Pokemon has a caveat attached to its "best" ranking.Depending on its Power Stone spread, it can be a bit of a glass cannon, so make sure its teammates can support it with Sharing Stones and defensive moves like Harden. Give it a Whack Whack Stone and possibly a Wait Less Stone for maximum damage output. This honing long-range attack deals tons of damage. Alakazam: Like the original Red and Blue, Alakazam is a powerhouse in Pokemon Quest when equipped with Psychic.Machamp: Machamp can learn Bulk Up, which can support its teammates with both a defense and attack boost - as long as it has a Sharing Stone attached to it! If you can get a Machop with Bulk Up with two slots and an attack move, that is ideal. Golem is better than Onix, but is more difficult to get. Onix is relatively easy to get and has great stats starting out.You'll want to get these Pokemon early on in your adventure for a decent advantage. You can see all of their base stats below.īecause Fire-type Pokemon are more difficult to come by, and because the second expedition area gets a bonus from Fire-type Pokemon, we recommend Charmander, but any would work. We suggest to not pick Pikachu, since it's one of the easiest Pokemon to lure with a Recipe. The first few areas are quite easy, so truthfully any starter Pokemon will do fine.
